Working Mom Mix

See this content in the original post

While I love to hike the trails, I use this mix more when I am working and can’t shake free from my busy clinic—I just have to bring extra for my coworkers!

It’s great to keep on hand in your desk drawer at work or in the car. It is the perfect balance of sweet and nutritious!

Time to cook 25 minutes | makes 5 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw, unsalted almonds

  • 1 cup raw, unsalted cashews

  • 1/4 tsp. salt (optional)

  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (I like Ghirardelli, over 60 percent cacao)

  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries

Instructions

  1. Heat your oven to 225 degrees.

  2. Spread almonds and cashews on a sheet tray. Roast until nuts are slightly brown and fragrant, about 20 minutes. Sprinkle with salt if desired. Let cool.

  3. Mix the nuts with the chocolate chips and dried cranberries. Store in an air-tight container up to two weeks.
